Chicago-Windy City

Chicago is known for its Chicago blues, Chicago soul, jazz and gospel. Chicago is also famous for its architecture. The city of Chicago recognized by the nicknames of "The Windy City","Second City", "The city of shoulders" and "Chi-town .




Chicago has several signature foods which reflects city's ethnic and working class roots. Its combination of upscale dining and traditional ethnic foods makes eat a must-eat destination for foodies from all over the world



Deep Dish Pizza

Chicago style pizza usually refers to deep dish pizza. Which have a thick crust, baked in deep pan. Deep dish pizza is made of thick layers of mozzarella cheese covered with vegetables and meats, typically Italian sausage with golden brown crust over the tomato paste.



The dough of deep dish pizza is different from other pizzas in which canola oil is used instead of corn oil. A fork and knife are required tools for downing a slice of Deep Dish Pizza.
